As the author of the book, More Than ‘Just a Game’, I’ll start off the thread. Admittedly, there are sections in the early part of the book that might have seemed useless or tedious. But there is a tie-in, and later on it will all make sense. For those who have purchased the book and would like to comment, feel free to share your thoughts here.

The average requirements for entrance in the league are:
1) NDBC Sanctioned averages for 2022-2023 season, 30 games or more
2) League average limit is 270 (entrance averages)
3) President: Bernie Hipkins; Statistician: Rod Weaver

As the Admin, I’ll start this ball rolling, in answer to the post topic. When I would go to tournaments, whether it was in Hagerstown, Greenway East, Rinaldi’s Colonial Annapolis, or Walkersville, I usually tagged along with Howard Block and George Cardosi. Prior to that, at Wheaton Triangle, I was usually in the company of my friend, Buddy Rhodes.
